Dear God, the Almighty Creator and Giver of Life, mayYou grant unto Your people complete knowledge of Your will, spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we may please and honor You in the morally upright decisions we will make as we learn to trust and grow in the knowledge of Your virtue.

As You guide us through the counsel of Your Word through the direction of the Holy Spirit, may You prosper us in the midst of national economic and moral turbulence; may You strengthen us with Your glorious power so we may acquire the endurance and patience we will need to accomplish the task ahead with a joyful heart.

I give thanks to You Lord for blessing our families, for delivering us from the power of darkness, and transferring us into Your Kingdom as citizens through Jesus Christ.

Dear Father, may we challenge our hearts to focus on thankfulness rather than the situations that fight to distract us!
