It is imperative as Christ-followers that we pray for those who are in authority over our nation. Regardless of how you may have voted in the last election God has given us a voice as His representatives.

As Christ-followers we must be responsible to vote and express ourselves in the elections, but we must be wise as to the candidates we support. Please make sure your vote is NOT cast from your personal prejudices or even political party preference. Our voice must reflect that which will bring the greatest glory to God and lift up the name of Jesus.

I pray it is now obvious to all who are truly watching around the world that our current president, Barack Hussein Obama, has done exactly the contrary. His openly manifested actions have spoken loud and clear in opposition to the principles of our Saviour Jesus Christ, His followers and God's people, Israel.

It includes references and links to various proven sources that confirm the aggressive-hostile agenda that lies at the heart of our nations current administration. An agenda being well hidden behind a facade of well articulated speeches and charisma, carefully crafted and woven into a fabric of delusion to deceive the simple as well as the more experienced.

This is not a plea to promote your vote for any particular candidate in any particular election. It is though a cry for you to fast, pray and take the time to inquire of God before you fill in any blanks or check any boxes as you elect leaders for any office. Before you declare where you stand, it is best that you find out where God is standing. If you don't, you will more than likely be standing with a majority crowd, but the problem will be that God won't be one of them. It is important that we do our best not to repeat poor history, even if it is recent poor history.

Only God knows who the person of the Ant-Christ will be, but Jesus and the Apostles told us that we can easily identify those who are operating in the spirit of anti-Christ. (See Matt 7:20, Gal 5:22-24). Our obligation is to observe and discern the times and seasons; to be wise in our estimations of people; and insure that we are not motivated by emotions or personal gain, but instead by the Word of God alone.

There will never be a perfect president, but we need to hold each one accountable to the oath they took before their occupancy of the office, which reads: " I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Our nation was birthed on the foundation of God's Holy Word. As Christ-followers let us remain faithful to our King, Jesus Christ, and continue to uphold the principles on which this nation was founded. Let your voice be heard for Righteousness!

May the grace of God be with all of those who love the Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity and look for His soon return.
